Sindh announces complete shut down during Friday prayers

KARACHI, May 01 : The Sindh government has once again decided to keep the entire province shut down for three hours during the Friday prayers to counter the coronavirus pandemic.

According to media reports, Sindh will remain completely locked down from 12:00 PM to 03:00 PM as citizens have been barred from visiting outside and no traffic on roads has been allowed.
The authorities have announced to take action against the violators. The provincial regime had imposed the same rules last Friday also to stop people from gathering at mosques to avoid the epidemic.
Furthermore, the provincial governments of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan have also issued instructions for people to follow the rules during the Friday prayers to counter COVID-19.
