PIA repatriates 136 stranded Pakistani nationals from Iraq

Islamabad, April 8 : A special flight of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) repatriated 136 stranded Pakistani citizens in Iraq on Wednesday.
According to media reports the flight PK-9814 reached Islamabad in the morning, where a special team of doctors examined and screened the passengers.
The 135 passengers along with the 11 aircraft’s crew for now have been quarantined at a local hotel, whereas one passenger Bilal has been shifted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences PIMS due to high fever.
According to airport sources the blood samples of the passengers and crew members will be taken. The passenger’s corona test coming in negative will be allowed to go home.
